1. Always trim the wick:

Always remember this golden rule of “Trimming

the wick at least ½ inches before burning any candle.

You can use a regular pair of scissors in case you

don’t have a wick trimmer. Trimming a wick is

important because an untrimmed wick might lead to

sooting (smoke) and uneven burning in a candle.

2. Do burn it for 2-3 hours on first use:

"You should always burn your candle for a couple

of hours when first lighting it. This is to allow the

top layer of wax to fully melt, ensuring even burning

when next lighting it. Wax has a memory so it is

important not to skip this step to make sure you

get the most even burning  out of your candle."

3. Never burn candles for more than 3 hours :

You should never burn your candles for more

than 3 consecutive hours as it might lead to

mushrooming of the wick (a mushroom like

formation on top of carbon) which will cause the

candle to create smoke.

4. Do not keep near windy area:

Don’t place your candles near windows,

AC units, fans or any place where there is

movement in the air. This could cause the flame to

flicker that will leadto uneven burning of the

candle and sooting (black smoke).
